To be truly heard, can make all the difference.
Joanna Salomone provides psychological counselling for those with mental health issues, and personal development counselling for those seeking better self-understanding.
Working primarily with adult individuals, Joanna has a particular interest in working with the life challenges and patterns expressed in the individual biography, the early life experiences that impact on current personal functioning and relationships; life span transitions, such as separation, divorce, retirement and redundancy; and existential issues to do with meaning and purpose.
Joanna brings a wealth of life experience to her practice, and has worked with people from all walks of life and social circumstances, in the areas of women’s health, addictions and mental health, with war veterans and their families, with FIFO workers, Aboriginal people, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds, among others.
